January Catch Up

January seemed to fly right on by with the blink of an eye.
Here are a few things that happened that month.

We finally got to have Christmas with our Nana, the kids like having more gifts to open.

Cayden turned 6 and had a fun Birthday Party.  She had a fingernail paiting party, all the girls got their nails done at "Cayden's Nail Salon"!

Here she is enjoying her Rainbow cake! It sure was yummy with huge gobs of frosting.

Cambrie turned 4 months old  on the 29th, and boy has she grown!  She was in the 90th% for babies her age.  She is by far the biggest, and most chubby baby I have every had!  We just love her chubby cheeks, all the kids love to kiss them.

This is Cambrie at a few days old.  You can see how much she has grown in her four short months of life!  I remember thinking how big she was at birth.  Ha Ha

Chance got a friend to watch Thomas movies with him.  I think that Cambrie enjoyed the company just as much as Chance.

Goodbye 2009, Hello 2010

December was a busy month for our family: Cambrie was blessed in church and she didn't cry at all! The best part was that I was actually able to hear the blessing. Here she is in her beautiful gown that Jason could hardly hold on to.
The kids has their Christmas programs at school. Here is Cayden in her Kindergarten Reindeer shirt. During Christmas Vacation, we had lots of fun things planned. One day we made gingerbread man cookies. The kids were so proud of them they didn't want to eat them. Well our year just wouldn't be over with out one more fun time! Of course the kids got H1N1 Christmas eve!!! First Corbin was sick, and then that night Cayden got sick, and two days later Chance got it! Sorry no pictures of Christmas eve, of the kids in their cute pj's. No pictures of the house all decorated, no nothing. We didn't have a Christmas eve this year. But our Christmas Miracle was that baby Cambrie didn't get sick! Poor Jason has to spend Christmas eve day in the doctor's office with sick people. Then all evening in Walgreen's picking up medications that each child needed. After we finally got the kids settled into their rooms and separated from everyone, Jason and I sat down to dinner. It was oh so wonderful to sit across the table from each other, alone, with no children. We looked into each others eye's and gazed lovingly. "Merry Christmas", we said, and then laughed when someone started crying. Oh well it was a nice 10 seconds anyway. Christmas day was very subdued when everyone sleeps in and then lays on the couch to open their gifts. But it was still a nice day, no one vomited. Count your many blessings, right?

Chance was sick for over a week with the flu, then an ear infection.  So we didnt do anything fun or extiting for New Year's eve.  We let Corbin stay up and watch the East Coast news for the annual ball drop in Times Square.  Just before it dropped I said to Corbin, "Quick, do somthing, its the last thing you'll do in 2009"!  He quickly did a somersault.  Whew that was close, he almost missed out.  Then he kissed me so that he could be the first one to in 2010.

Jason and I decided to go to bed shortly after thinking that we didn't want to have anymore adventures in 2009.  We happily woke up in 2010 to a crying baby in our room who was hungry.  We hope that this year is less bumpy than the last one. Happy New Year!

Busy Days

Lots of things have been going on at our house, here is just a few updates.
Corbin received the "Writer of the Month" award. Cayden had a visitor from school spend the weekend with us. And Chance, well he discovered Pop Tarts! Halloween was a fun time for all going with a cousin at Nana's house.
Cambrie went to Church for the first time. She has on a dress Katrina wore as a baby.

More baby pictures

I can't believe that Cambrie is two weeks old now. Her first week of life sure was busy and stressful. She was 3 weeks early and that caused her to be jaundice. The doctor wanted a blood test to make sure her bilirubin levels were not too high. Well that first test was a disaster, the tech took 45 min to get some blood. And then called us and said the test was ruined! So the next day I took her somewhere else and it went much smoother. But alas her level was pretty high, which meant she had to have a blood test everyday. Each day her level went even higher, and then they were really worried. So I had Jason give her a blessing that her levles would go back down. I really didnt want to admit her to the hospital. Sunday when I took her in for her test her level had gone done one point but it was enough to show that she was not going to need to be in hospital. So with all the worry and stress behind us we can now enjoy her. The kids just love her, and cant wait to hold her when they get a chance. Last night we had an unofficial photo shoot. She had her eyes open and was awake for a few minutes. The kids said, "she is like a real baby." Here are a few of those pictures.

Baby Cupcake is here!!!!

Well after all the waiting and problems with my pregnancy its finally over! Our new baby girl made her entrance into the world on Sept. 29th at 12:16 am! It was a very nice delivery, which included an ohh so wonderful epidural. Cambrie Tesa weighed in at 7lbs 1oz and is 19.5 inches long. The kids came that morning before school to meet their new sister. They all loved her and took turns holding and kissing her. We are getting used to no sleep and lots of diapers. But we wouldn't want it any other way. Thank you so much to all the people who have helped take care of our family. For loving our children when we couldn't be there for them. The old saying is true: It takes a village to raise a family.
